• Search results in a new protein/condensate list page and not opening on the same page
• The species filter for search should default to "All"
• The placeholder should be "Enter Uniprot ID, gene name, or protein name" for proteins
• The placeholder should be "Enter condensate name" for condensate"
• The dropdown suggestions should be made more highlighted. For proteins show the protein name in brackets along with the gene name
• Selecting a suggestion must already create a search and takes you to the list page (though not in case of empty results)
• When no results are found by search, show text saying "Seems like we could not understand what you were searching for, please go to the Protein list page (hyperlinked) or Condensate list page (hyperlinked)"

@sghosh Do we need protein/condensate list table in the landing page instead of blank content first? I think this makes sense too.

Actually, there are some other things which we planned for the home page like one para of welcome text. Then this will be followed by the search bar, and the last part would be "News section".

So, I think as of now you can keep blank content first, and no need for default list pages. But we need separate tabs on the header for the Condensate List page (already there) and Protein List page (needed).
